SMART CUBE 5.0

Every year we present a new concept for the Smart Cube trend zone, reflecting current trends in the world of light, design and smart technologies.

Smart Cube 5.0 is a mysterious interactive space created using technological approaches to lighting.

The concept of the 2024 project is to focus the attention of visitors on the emotions that we receive thanks to the atmosphere created by the interaction of modern design and smart technologies.

— What inspired the creators of the trend zone?

— The surrounding world and nature! This is an integral part of our lives, we all strive for harmony within ourselves and around us, and flora is life in its purest, natural manifestation. All principles of life are based on the laws of nature. Light, both natural and artificial, affects quality of life and comfort. The goal of a lighting designer is to create and play out spaces with maximum ergonomics, based on knowledge of natural science and the use of modern technologies.

Smart Cube 5.0 is the interaction of nature and the internal state of a person through changing the light environment.

Using lighting design elements (luminaires and control systems, materials of various textures), as well as creative ideas, the exhibition ambassadors created not just a stand, but a space with its own atmosphere, idea and meaning. It is these components that underlie the approach to solving problems in the world of lighting design.

Smart Cube 5.0 is an immersive space with its own unique atmosphere, created using light, design and smart technology, leaving an emotional response among all exhibition visitors.

FEEL THE HARMONY AND UNITY WITH NATURE IN SMART CUBE 5.0

STREET LIGHT BY SAROS

SAROS took part in the exhibition for the first time with the STREET LIGHT BY SAROS project. Smart Cube was supplemented with a smart garden and park area.

The exhibition presents lighting poles, LED lamps and floor lamps, a special atmospheric exposition is complemented by an eco-support and designer trees in a bionic style.

SAROS is a Russian manufacturer of LED equipment for acoustic, outdoor and indoor lighting. The company produces lamps and supports on natural plants.

Design Stories by FLOS

The Design Stories by Flos trend zone is the center of attraction for exhibition participants: designers and architects.

Flos has been setting global lighting trends since the 1960s. It is one of the most recognized companies in the industry, having received numerous international awards, including 11 Compasso d'Oro awards, the highest honor in design.

In the Design Stories by FLOS space, you will see how the brand embodies the artful fusion of technology and emotion in its products, creating light that inspires and transforms any space. Visitors will be able to discover the history and product range of FLOS, while experiencing first-hand the brand's personalized approach to creating unique lighting elements.

Flos is not just a brand, it's a lifestyle!

The 2024 exhibition featured new interpretations of classic lamps that have become icons of style in the history of design, as well as contemporary models created in collaboration with renowned designers.

SMART LIGHT by VARTON+AWADA

The VARTON+AWADA art gallery is a collaboration that brings together industry leaders: LED lighting manufacturer VARTON and lighting control systems AWADA Smart Light, architectural bureau A4 and lighting design bureau Culture of Light.

The main character and personage of the installation is LIGHT. It turns everyday utilitarian objects into works of art and divides the space into three sections and three principles of sustainable development:

Reduce — reducing consumption
Reuse — reusing
Recycle — recycling of materials

The installation consists of elements of materials that are used in the construction of buildings, improvement of public spaces and urban areas. In each section, light, interacting with rough material, revives it and turns it into an object of art, creating an invisible emotional connection with a person.

Comfort and safety for people, reducing the burden on the environment, careful, efficient and long-term use of resources are the key principles underlying the installation and the activities of VARTON as a leader in the Russian lighting industry.
