For the 27th time, from 19-22 of September 2022 international exhibition of lightning, building automation, electrical engineering and security systems Interlight Russia | Intelligent building Russia took place in IEC «Expocentre», Moscow.

This year we pleased you with large exposition and extensive fringe program. For the first time in a while, there were Turkish and Chinese National Pavilions. On an area of 13,750 m2 of the exposition, 209 participants presented their products. The exhibition was visited by 19,756 professionals from 11 countries, 5% more than in 2021, while 38% visited the exhibition for the first time.

For the third year in a row trend-zones has become unique place on the exhibition. Taking into account logistic and geopolitical conditions team managed to demonstrate innovations of building automation and contemporary lightning in interactive format. 26 partners were engaged to create a trend-zone, which provided solutions for convenient live in residential real estate. We express our gratitude to creators of Smart Cube 3.0: Daria Makurova (TRUE PROJECT), Konstantin Tsepelev (BRIGHT BURO) and Lyudmila Verba (VERBA DESIGH).

What is more, trends of commercial real estate were presented by Varton in Smart Light B2B trend-zone. Area was equipped with VARTON lamps that were connected to AWADA Advance control system. In trend-zone company presented lightning for streets, parks, sports fields, HoReCa areas and parking.

The fringe program covered all thematic sections of the exhibition.

On September 19, a strategic session of the APSS and ANO Consortium of Lighting Engineering took place, in which Igor took part Ananskikh, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Energy; Grigory Revzin, representative of the REP Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, as well as top managers of leading lighting companies. The LED Forum was also held on September 19. This year the event was organized in a new format - a business brunch with the heads of city services in the sphere of housing and communal services. LED FORUM has become a meeting place for customers with suppliers for the 15th time. This year the event was attended by representatives of Ministry of Improvement of the Moscow region, administration Bogorodsky city district, city district administration Zaraysk, SUE "Mossvet", OEK, SUE "Sargorsvet", UP "Mingorsvet", etc.

The open educational platform Interlight Design Academy worked on the principle of "one day – one topic". Experts spoke about the trends of lighting design 2022-2023, the role of light in interior design and smart home technologies, as well as architectural lighting and lighting of public spaces. The speakers were Roberto Corradini and Marco Palandella (Italian lighting designers), Olga Kib (Yandex), Dmitry Matrosov (Salute, SberDevices), Vitaly Titov (SmartArt), Alyona Gorskaya (AG Design Studio), Elena Teplitskaya (Teplitskaya Design), Mikhail Grachev (Style Home), Grigory Fefilov (Yauzaproekt LLC) and many others. A separate session was devoted to the illumination of parks, representatives of the Botanical Garden of Lomonosov Moscow State University "Aptekarsky Ogorod", Sokolniki Park, Domodedovo Parks discussed current approaches to the tasks of functionality and aesthetics.

The Intelligent Tech Forum (ex. Intersec Forum Russia) took place on September 20. The first session of the event was devoted to the prospects for the development of smart and safe cities in Russia, the second to innovations and import substitution in the field of automation and building security. The forum also included a presentation of Bus77, solutions for home and commercial automation based on the open Russian protocol from iRidi, a partner of the Intelligent building Russia section. The event ended with a discussion on the coverage of commercial and residential real estate. Event by tradition has become a platform for industry discussions, exchange of experience, as well as a dialogue between manufacturers and customers. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the administration of Arzamas, Belgorod, the Ministry of Improvement of the Moscow region, FSBI VNII GOCHS (FC), ANO "Digital Economy", Skolkovo Foundation, Airplane Group, COLDY, ST. MICHAEL, FGC, MR Group, etc.

For the first time this year, an event was organized for top managers and marketers of lighting and electrical companies - Interlight Business Talks. The speakers spoke about the current state of the lighting technology market and development prospects for 2022-2025, foreign trade trajectories in new realities, shared tools for successful B2B sales and branding cases. Presentations by representatives of Yandex Market and Sbermegamarket were devoted to the possibilities of marketplaces for manufacturers and suppliers of light and electrical equipment.

On September 21, the Russian Lighting Design competition was held at a new level – 174 lighting and lighting devices projects were presented. In addition to the traditional design nominations for outdoor and indoor lighting, special nominations were established for the first time in 2022, which attracted the attention of the professional community to the most interesting areas of lighting application today.

On the final day of the exhibition with the support of the National Scientific Research Institute of Lighting Engineering named after S.I. Vavilov (VNISI) and the Russian National Committee The International Commission on Lighting has passed National scientific and Technical conference "Young Lighting Engineers", within the framework of which reports in the field of light and lighting from young specialists and students were presented. During the conference, 8 of the best for face-to-face presentations were selected, which were subsequently published in the proceedings Scientific and Technical Conference "Innovative lighting engineering of Russia", and the winners of the competition had the opportunity to publish an article based on their report in the oldest Russian scientific and technical publication on lighting and lighting - the journal "Lighting Engineering".
